Fast track your career with an Apprenticeship in Hospitality and Catering

Hospitality is one of the largest sectors in the UK, particularly London employing over 1.5 million people.

This is a dynamic industry and for those with drive, enthusiasm and passion it can offer many exciting opportunities from working as a Head Chef in a five star, luxury hotel to a Sommelier in a Country Estate. Hospitality and Catering covers anything from working in hotels, event planning, restaurants, bars, clubs, theme parks, cruise liners to pubs, cafes and contract catering.

There are many options a career in this sector can offer you, so to reflect this the apprenticeship has many pathways. You could work in “Front of House” for example where you could train as waiting staff, a receptionist in a large hotel, or train in drinks service.

People more interested in cookery can train as a Chef in a restaurant or learn how to cook on a large scale for institutions such as the NHS or the armed forces. There are all kinds of kitchen environments, from fine dining, chain restaurants to gastro pubs and cafes, so something to suit all.
