Creating an Apprenticeship
Apprenticeships are a well-recognised way for employers to both recruit and train new staff – bringing in and developing new ‘home grown’ talent to a business – or up-skilling existing staff. But the term ‘apprenticeship’ means many things to many people and our job is to make sure that the apprenticeships that you create in your organisation meet your needs whilst remaining fully compliant with all the rules and regulations – the red tape.
It’s far from simple because your apprentices have to be following formally-recognised qualifications (apprenticeship ‘standards’ or ‘frameworks’) to be eligible in funding terms. You’ll want them to be eligible so that you can either recover your apprenticeship levy or benefit from generous Government funding.
To get the best result – the most impact for your spend on apprenticeships – you have to know how to get the skills training you want within the context of the rules and regulation. Our advisory service does just that – we work out how you can embed valuable apprenticeship training whilst maximising financial support and/or apprenticeship levy recovery.
