Coaching your apprentice
Managing your apprentices can be really time-consuming – especially if your line managers have not supported apprentices before.
We have a team of apprentice coaches whose job it is to look after your apprentice. It may sound a bit namby-pamby, but the truth is that apprentices often aren’t used to the pressures of having to cope with deadlines at work whilst having to complete assignments, tests and assessments. And older staff will find themselves having to do things that they haven’t done for 30 years. They won’t all need help all of the time but when they do our team steps in.
And somebody needs to keep track of all the work that your apprentices are doing so that you have an overall picture of progress and the impact of your scheme. Our team monitors the progress of each of your apprentices and liaise between you and the training provider, the line manager and the apprentice.
Where there are issues that are preventing an apprentice progressing as they should, we fix the problems.
